Performance Issue While Looping Through Selected Records (Doc ID 2168477.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.1.1.14.11 [IP2014] version, Siebel VB / eScript / COM

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Application takes long time to display the count of records.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The selected records count should be displayed quickly

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add the below Browser Script on the Service Request List Applet.

 

3. Add one control in the applet to invoke "PBGCount" method.
4. Add the control in the web template.
5. Compile the Service Request List Applet and "PBG Call Reassign Service" BS.
6. Generate the Browser Scripts.
7. Login to Open UI application.
8. select 10 records and click on count button.
9. The count will be displayed.
10. select 1000+ records by clicking on CTRL+A.
11. Click on the count button.
12. Application hangs.
