PRODUCT VERSIONS:

SIEBEL VERSION: Siebel Siebel 15.12
DATABASE VERSION: Oracle 11.2.0.4
SIEBEL APP O/S: Linux x86

ISSUE STATEMENT:
----------------------------
Siebel application has been upgraded from Siebel 8.1.1.5 to Siebel 15.12.0.0. After which, when Siebel is sending orders to EBS via AIA using the JMS transport, an error occurs.

ERROR MESSAGE:

The error message that occurs with this issue is:

ObjMgrBusServiceLog Error 1 00000d6d57946a17:0 2016-08-02 15:20:31 (javabsvc.cpp (336)) SBL-EAI-05000: Business Service call returned error code JNDI_ERROR and message: Exception: javax.naming.CommunicationException: Connection timed out [Root exception is java.io.IOException: Connection timed out]; Message: Connection timed out

WHERE IT HAPPENED:

The issue happens in customer's QAL environment.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
---------------------------------
The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Upgrade Siebel application from 8.1.1.5 to Siebel 15.12.0.0.

2. From within Siebel application, send an order to AIA via EAI JMS Transport, the error occurs.

LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY / BUSINESS IMPACT:

Due to the error message, Siebel is not able to send orders to EBS via AIA using the JMS transport.
