Check boxes change to a Slide button of Yes or No in the Open UI display when using Windows 10.
We have physical renderer functionality that attempts to get a value of a check box after it is selected. We are in the process of rolling up to new laptops that have windows 10 installed, and so we are testing how Siebel will work in windows 10 on MS Edge, IE 11, and Google Chrome.
Edge and IE11 seem to work properly, but when using google chrome our check boxes are changing from input types to select types, and therefore we are unable to get the value of that checkbox because it becomes a select.
After researching this, it appears that when Chrome is used, the 3rdParty js library is invoked which is out of the box. This changes input check boxes to the switch toggle. Attached you will see screenshots of how this changes our look and feel. Also, you will see the underlying html for a particular control. You will notice the element completely changes from an input to a select.
Is there a way to disable this third party invocation as users do not want this toggle functionality?
