Error While Adding Event Object As BusComp To Workflow Connector (Doc ID 2197903.1)

Last updated on MARCH 02, 2017

Applies to:

Siebel Workflow - Version 8.1.1.11.3 [IP2013] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 8.1.1.14.18 [IP2014] version, Siebel Workflow

When trying to invoke a workflow at the click of a button on applet by associating the method behind the button to the connector coming out of the start step and then resuming it after a wait step. Though we are able to add an Applet as Event Object, we are getting an error while adding BusComp to the Event Object in the connector after Wait Step. The drop down becomes read only when selecting BusComp as Event Object Type.

Already added Event Object as Applet successfully in the first connector after the Start Step, didn't get any error and was able to select the applet name from drop down.

Tried adding Business Object to the workflow. But it didn't work.

Getting error "The value entered in field Event Object of buscomp Repository WF Step Branch does not match any value in the bounded pick list Repository PickList Business Object Component.(SBL-DAT-00225)"
