Inbound Email Component Not Pooling Emails, Error In Driver Log File "unable to find valid certification path to requested target" and "Could not connect to email server. JMail client in invalid state!" (Doc ID 2198934.1)

Symptoms

Siebel Email Response module is not able to pull the email message from the  mail box been monitored by Siebel Response Group.

The issue can be observed using Internet SMTP/IMAP Server driver OR Internet SMTP/POP3 Server driver using Enable Java for POP3 = True.

The Communications Inbound Receiver (CommInboundRcvr) is up and running on Online status. 

After set the Siebel Server parameter "Log directory" the IMAPSMTP_xxx_xxxx_xxxx_xxx.log started to be generated and the following error could be observed in the log file:

On the Siebel email driver (IMAPSMTP_<CommInboundRcvr Process ID in hexadecimal>_xxxx_xxxx_xxx.log the following error can be observed:

Could not connect to email server. JMail client in invalid state!
