Crash of Mainwin processes causes regautobackup hang

Symptoms
After moving from AIX v6 to v7 and upgrade from IP 2013 PS15 to PS17 the MAINWIN is sometimes crashing.
As a consequence:
- siebel components are crashing and cannot be automatically restarted by Siebel. Recover method: bouncing Siebel services.
- executing siebenv.sh will cause session to hang during executing "regautobackup -off"
Corruption of mainwin related files lead to hang behavior.
Changes
Upgrade OS from AIX v6 to v7 and Siebel upgrade from IP 2013 PS15 to PS17.
