Page Cannot be Displayed error in IE 8 supported browser using Siebel IP2015 HI client and HTTPS

On : 15.0 [IP2015] version, Security / Authentication

Siebel does not connect with HTTPS on IE8 for IP2015.

Siebel should work with HTTPS on IE8 for IP2015

The issue can be reproduced ONLY in customer environment at will with the following steps:
1. Setup HTTPS by importing certificates on web servers.
2. Load balance the web servers and create server certificates for the load balancing servers.
3. Check to see if the HTTPS is working.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot run HTTPS and this was causing a setback.
