Siebel LOCAL_XE Oracle Database Issue when Using Restore/Backup Option of OracleXEConfig.bat
We recently upgraded our Siebel Version to IP2016 Patchset 5 and the Upgrade was successful. As a traditional process , the developer are in off-shore locations. The Siebel Remote Administrator will perform the database extracts and initialize the local databases for the developers. The local databases will be placed on an ftp site form which the developers will download them to their respective machines.
1. We are following the step by step instructions of the Document " Initialize Local DBF For Developers In IP2016 And Then Provide the LOCAL_XE Database To Developers (Doc ID 2211767.1)"
2. The Process is working fine for a Windows7 64 bit machine but not working for Windows7 32 bit machine. We also have tried using the Siebel_Install_Image using the 32 bit jar for the Oracle XE database (SBA_220.127.116.11_Base_Windows_ORACLE_XE_Local_Database_32_Bit.jar) but no luck as it is always throwing the Error that the Existing Oracle XE instance is not working Properly when we do a restore of the DBF file shared by the administrator.
The issue is happening only on a 32 bit Windows7 Operating system
