General Events (GenericLog ) event log level for "List Import Service Manager" Component is increased to 3

Symptoms

On : 8.1.1.10 [23021] version, System Admin

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
After setting “General Events” (GenericLog) event log level to 1 for “List Import Service Manager” component and restarting the Siebel server, this event type is increased to level 3


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The “General Events” event log level should remains even after restarting the siebel server, in other words, if the event log level for this event type was changed to 1 for “List Import Service Manager” component then after restarting the siebel server the event log level should remains 1

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will the following steps:

1. Set General Events event log (GenericLog) to 1 for comp “List Import Service Manager” (ListImportSvcMgr). Using the srvrmgr utility, you may run the command below:

change evtloglvl GenericLog=1 for comp ListImportSvcMgr


2. Confirm that GenericLog event log is set to 1 for ListImportSvcMgr component. Using the srvrmgr utiity, you may run the command below

list evtloglvl GenericLog for comp ListImportSvcMgr

3. Restart the siebel server

4. Verify the GenericLog event log level. Using the srvrmgr utiity, you may run the command below

list evtloglvl GenericLog for comp ListImportSvcMgr
