F9 with MS Outlook or External Email Client Should Not Show The [Thread Id ] Text In Email Body (Doc ID 2222881.1)

Goal

When using Siebel F9 functionality with Email Client set to External Email Client or MS Outlook the Email Body always show the text [THREAD ID: <Email - Outbound activity record Row ID>].

This key text is used to update the changes made after F9 bring up the email client editor and the user click on Send button, as described in Bookshelf>Siebel Email Administration Guide > Managing Workflows for Siebel Email Response > Configuring Email Response to Capture Emails Sent with External Email Clients

 

Ideally the Siebel Users should not able to see and remove the [THREAD ID:], since user can manually or accidentally delete this text which would cause missing information in Siebel CRM Application about the email sent.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open Siebel Application in OpenUI mode

2. Go to Tools Tab > User Preferences > Outbound Communications > and change the setting below and saved;

3. Press F9 key.

4. The email editor pop up and the text [THREAD ID:<Action Row ID>] is added to the email body as below example with MS Outlook client using DISA:
