Case Sensitive prompt is not showing correctly in Home Page search applet
Case Sensitive prompt should show correctly in Home Page search applet
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1)Login to Public Sector Application-->Go to Incidents screen and check for 'Date Occurred' field in Search Applet of Incidents Home
Note:Case Sensitive displays in the field when applet is in query
2)Go to Incidents Form Applet and Query
3)Observed 'Case Sensitive' is not displaying in 'Date Occurred' Field in Form Applet
4)Go to 'Contacts' Home Page and there is no search applet in the Home Page
5)Add 'Contact Home Search Virtual Form Applet' in Contact Home Page View
6)Compile the changes and open the application
7)Last Name is showing Case Sensitive
8)Go to Contact Form Applet and check Last Name Field .i.e It is also showing Case Sensitive
9)Go to S_CONTACT table and search for LAST_NAME column
10)Right Click on LAST_NAME column-->click Case Insensitive
11)Apply, Activate table and then compile the table
12)Open the application again and go to Contacts Home Page
13)Observe 'Last Name' is still showing 'Case Sensitive'
14)Go to Contact Form Applet and Query
15)In contact form applet, Last Name field is now not showing 'Case Sensitive'
Note: As we have done the changes from Table level to make the column as Case Insensitive, then Last Name column should not be Case Sensitive even in Search Applet of Home Page view.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are not able to utilize the Case Sensitive on Home Search Applet
