Symptoms

On : 16.7 [IP2016] version, Upgrade

When customer attempting to connect LOCAL_XE ODBC Data Source as SIEBEL\SIEBEL Credentials getting below error.

ERROR

UpgradeLog UpgradeError 1 00000002587c1128:0 2017-01-16 07:25:13 ODBC Error: Unable to connect to ODBC Data Source (LOCAL_XE) using Login (SIEBEL).


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. install Siebel Tools with OracleXE.
2) connect LOCAL_XE ODBC as SIEBEL\SIEBEL Credentials.
