Menu Controls Do Not Work When Running Siebel Financial Services On Localhost

Symptoms

On : 8.0.0.5 SIA [20420] version, Configuration - General

Operating system is Windows 7; IE is IE 8; Financial Services is 8.0.


Various controls do not work when running Siebel Financial Services on the Localhost.

When Siebel Financial Services loads, the page displays an error.  The Siebel Menu bar and Menu drop down controls do not show the drop down items unless Internet Explorer runs in compatibility mode.

The back/forward buttons in IE and the X to close the task screen do not work whether in compatibility mode or not.
