Symptoms
On : 15.11 [IP2015] version, Order Management
Inbound E-mail Database Operations Update Record Method is not working properly in IP15.
When triggered the scenario which uses same BS method to update BC field and found select SQL is getting triggered twice, hence for the second time SQL is getting error and total scenario is being failed. Triggered the other scenario which uses same BS method to update BC field and found that there also select SQL is getting triggered twice.
In case of successful scenario the filed which we are updating is not part of the search spec. Hence will get records for that second SQL whatever the value might be for the field which is getting updated.
STEPS
1. Create simple workflow on Action Business Object with following steps
A. Start
B. BS Step :- Inbound E-mail Database Operations --> Update Record to update BC field which is there in Business Component Search Spec
The following Search Spec exists on the Action Business Component:
((([Template Flag] <> 'Y' AND [Template Flag] <> 'P') OR [Template Flag] IS NULL)) AND ([Opportunity Id] IS NULL OR [Opportunity Secure Flag] = 'N' or [Secure Opty Id] IS NOT NULL)
BusComp --> Action
BusObj --> Action
Id --> 1-XXXX
Field: Template Flag --> Y
Field: Status --> Closed
C. End
2. Simulate the workflow by passing the Activity BC row Id
when try to simulate BS : Inbound E-mail Database Operations , Method : Update Record it Failed with error :: *No record matching the search specification is found.(SBL-CMI-00122) * when try to update Template Flag filed which is there in BC search Spec.
