Information in this document applies to any platform.
User is trying to change the tab order for 4th level views by going to Tools -> User Preference -> Tab Layout from the application.
Despite of changing the order and successfully logging out / in, changed order is not taking effect. This is even happening when: deleting the SPF file for the user + log in and change the order + log out, the tab order changes are not coming up.
CONTEXT: Tools > User Preferences> Tab Layout
STEPS | NAVIGATION:
1. Change order for Account and Contact screens in the upper applet
Resulting settings: Account > Order = 3
Contact > Order = 2
2. With Account screen selected in the upper Applet, go to the lower applet View Tab Layout and switch order for entries Coverage Team and Primary Product Group Members (both under Parent Category: FINS Product Group Coverage Team).
Resulting setup: Coverage Team > Order = 2
Primary Product Group Members > Order = 1
3. After logout/login, the user sees the change in the tab order for both screen and level 3 views:
> Contacts screen tab is before Accounts screen tab
> After drilling down on an Account, go to level 2 tab Coverage Team View
> Primary Product Group Members & Coverage Team tabs are not changed
