Qn1:How to use Accrual Effectivity to update total points balance at the member level?
We have set up Accrual Effectivity for most of our partners and in order to display available points at the POS and in the web site we are using a Calculated field to sum up all the unused accruals which have effectivity date less than Today(). This is causing sever performance issues for those members who have huge number of transactions (and accrual items).
We would like to check if we can use OOB field Total points available (POINT_TYPE_A_VAL) instead of going through the above process, when we did our test, irrespective of effectivity the total points at member level is getting updated. Can this be overridden. Please confirm as soon as possible as this is impacting our performance in production.
