Using Bulk Request, Upgrade Promotion Deletes and Adds The Promotion Product (Doc ID 2251467.1)

Symptoms



ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Upgrade Promotion using Bulk Request deletes and adds the product component.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Create a simple Product "Mur_Prod"
2) Create 2 promotion
             a. Mur_Prom1 and add the "Mur_Prod" with default cardinality = 1 and action = Disconnect
             b. Mur_Prom2 and add the "Mur_Prod" with default cardinality = 1 and action = Disconnect
3) Define upgrade promotion between both the promotions
4) Create an Account "Mur_Account"
5) Create a new Sales order and add the Promotion "Mur_Prom1". The order line items looks like
Mur_Prom1
Mur_Prod
6) Set a service id for the promotion line item
7) Complete the Order and asset it.
8) Create a Bulk Request with below details
Action Set
Type = Upgrade
Child Type = Service Id

Instances
Select the promotion asset

Action
Action Code = Upgrade
Base Product = Mur_Prom1
Upgrade Promotion = Mur_Prom2

9) Submit the request

Actual Result
===============
The new Order is created as below
Mur_Prom1 - Delete
Mur_Prod - Delete
Mur_Prom2 - Add
Mur_Prod=Add

Expected Result
==============
Mur_Prom1 - Delete
Mur_Prod - Update
Mur_Prom2 - Add

1) Now Change the promotion defination as below
a. Mur_Prom1 and add the "Mur_Prod" with default cardinality = 1 and action =
Modify
b. Mur_Prom2 and add the "Mur_Prod" with default cardinality = 1 and action =
Modify
