On : 15.12 [IP2015] version, Client Functionality
There has been records created in Administration data>> Sales Assessment templates with Automatic Trigger checkbox checked ( Set to true).
The functionality worked fine. i.e. When the related sales method and sales stage is selected in a new opportunity, the desired assessment is created.
Later, the Automatic Trigger option was set to false. even then the trigger is working and assessments are created when new Opty is created.
Is something missed? Why is the triggering happening even after the checkbox is unchecked?
Automatic Trigger works in creating assessment record with an assessment
attribute and attribute value only when it is active, i.e., when Automatic
Trigger is checked.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
'Automatic Trigger' is not exposed in the vanilla UI, I expose it, the
default is unchecked.
0. Go to Administration - Data > Sales Assessment Templates
1. I create a new Sales Assessment Template, Type = Opportunity, Sales Stage:
01 - In Process, Sales Method: Retail.
2. I create a new Assessment Attributes:
Name: Overall Satisfaction
I create 5 new Attribute Values. Each value has 4 fields: Order, Value,
Score, Description. No Weight. But customer's screenshot shows weight.

Not Satisfy 1
3. I create a new Opportunity record, set Sales Method = Retail, Sales Stage
= 01 - In Process.
4. Drill down on Opportunity, choose Assessments, an assessment record is
created there with an assessment attribute and attribute value.
(So I reproduce the behavior because even 'Automatic Trigger' it not checked,
the Sales Assessment Template is automatically applied.)
I check the 'Automatic Trigger' for the Sales Assessment Template, and repeat
steps 3, the same assessment record and assessment attribute are created.
So the 'Automatic Trigger' has no effect because Sales Assessment Template
is always applied when the Sales Method and Sales Stage are met.
