Deploy CA Signed DISA Certificate (Doc ID 2260005.1)

Purpose

DISA installer can gather necessary information and generate a key store file (disa.jks) as required for DISA secured communication. The keystore file is a repository where DISA private key, public key certificates are stored.

DISA will generate a self-signed certificate for secure connection with browser by default, the default DISA certificate has basic constraint for security reason, it does not allowed to be used as a CA certificate , and the purpose of the certificate is restricted to server and client authentication. Alternatively, enterprise certificate authority signed X.509 certificate can also be used by DISA.

Scope

Required versions:

DISA version 2.17.2 and higher

This applies for all Siebel Enterprise versions supported by DISA
