Eligibility Display Mode Set at the Workflow Level Does Not Work (Doc ID 2270771.1)

Eligibility Display Mode should work when set in the Workflows.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Child Product 'Child"
  2. Check E&C and Inclusive Eligibility flag for Child.
  3. There is no rule written. So Child is always ineligible.
  4. Create a Customizable Product "Root"
  5. Root has only one child Product "Child"
  6. Release Child and Root Products
  7. Create a Quote
  8. Add Root as a line item
  9. Click Customize
  10. Add Child in Configurator
    1. If EligibilityDisplayMode=1 is set in cfg, then Child is shown in RED correctly.
    2. If EligibilityDisplayMode=2 is set in cfg, then Child is not visible which is correct behavior.
  11. Workflow Changes:
  12.   Set the "Display Mode" Property for the following Workflows to 2:
    1.  Product Eligibility & Compatibility - Default
    2.  Check Eligibility & Compatibility - Default
    3.  Configurator Eligibility Compatibility Workflow
    4.  “Configurator Eligibility Compatibility Workflow” for the Step “ E&C Workflow”
  13. Publish and activate the workflows
  14. Repeat steps 9 & 10 above
  15. Now the Child is always available
  16. Set EligibilityDisplayMode = 1 or 2 in cfg, the observed behavior is always the same i.e. it behaves as if it is set to 0.
