Siebel RCR WF batch Manager getting invoked multiple times for 1 record

We are facing an issue where in an RCR based on workflow process batch manager with a wf based on Service Request BC is being called multiple times for same record.

The serachspec runs on primary BC of the BO and even if the bc has a join which results in a cartesian join, only 1 record should get picked due to the vanilla behavior of Joins in a siebel business component.

please suggest.


Ideally WF shpould get invoked only once for 1 record

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. create workflow
2.use same workflow in WFPBM
3. put search spec parameter

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users can see duplicate proccess
