Activities Drag And Drop Into Calendar Showing Incomplete Info On Calendar In IP2016 (Doc ID 2286223.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from IP2015 PS7 to IP2016 PS11, the following is observed on the Calendar when trying to schedule activities through drag and drop into calendar functionality:

1. On the "HI Activity Calendar View", when we drag and drop an activity from the custom activity list applet to the calendar, the activity slot on calendar is showing no description even if the user property "Display Fields" is set correctly on the applet with a value of "Description" (see attached screenshot_1.jpg).

2.The hover on the same activity slot is correctly showing a value for all the fields set as a value to the applet user property "Description.Tooltip Fields" except the "Description" field that is missing its value on the tooltip (see attached Tooltip_issue.jpg).


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Migrate to IP16
2. Go to Calendar where you have the To Do's list at the left side
3. Create a record and ensure a Description is added
4. Drag & Drop it into the Calendar
5. Description is empty

Changes

The field Description in the Action BC was changed to map to an extension column X_DESCRIPTION instead of out of the box value NAME
