Users receiving Failure to connect to DISA agent

The following DISA repository changes were applied in DEV environment for testing:

  Add a new symbolic string X_WEBSOCKET_SERVICE
  Add a new class CSSWebSocketService
  Add a new Business Service WebSocket Service

And the system preference WebSocketServerPort was added.

These changes have been backed out by deleting the system preference and inactivating the objects in the repository however when opening attachments using the open button, DISA error is received.
But there is no DISA installed on user's local machine.

How to undo the changes that were applied?
Where are the settings that are telling it to use DISA?

"Failed to connect to DISA on your machine! Please make sure its running or check its configurations. (SBL-UIJ-52871)"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open attachments using the open button.
