Unable to Invoke a BS from Cfgpmodel.js with a Dedicated Product Configurator OM (Doc ID 2298419.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Siebel IP 15.9 - Unable to invoke a BS from cfgpmodel.js with a dedicated product configurator OM

We are having a Siebel implementation on 15.9 version with dedicated product configurator object manager setup. We have a requirement to invoke a BS from cfgpmodel.js from inside the product configurator session. We observed that the BS is not getting invoked from the cfgpmodel itself. We observed that this issue is not reproducible in Siebel IP 15.7.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

While invoking a BS from cfgpmodel.js from inside the product configurator session, it is observed that the BS is not getting invoked from the cfgpmodel itself.

STEPS TO REPLICATE THE BEHAVIOR
-----------------------------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Added 'GetContacts' button in web template
2) Added custom JavaScript that calls Business Service when we clicked on 'GetContacts' button.
3) Added custom Business Service that query Contact BC and returns first record Last Name field value.
4) Added call back function that will read BC¿s Output property set and display a message.

In 15.18 We can see Message Box with returned Last Name; which means all works fine.
