Not Able to Update the Field Value Using Script in IP16 (Doc ID 2299430.1)

While trying to set/ update the field value using script in IP16, it is not allowing and giving following error:

SBL-DAT-00402: This operation is not available for read only field 'Customer Number'.

SBL-EXL-00151: This operation is not available for read only field 'Customer Number'.(SBL-DAT-00402)
