On : 15.18 [IP2015] version, Order Management

After shifting production system from IP15.13 to IP15.18 customer is observing error message "SBL-DBC-00105 / ORA-0100: maximum open cursors exceeded" often in conjunction with coredumps during order submit when the verification of an order containing promotion group product for a large customer is invoked.

They could narrow down the issue already to BS 'ISS Promotion Management Service' method 'IntegrityCheck'. They compared an execution of that BS method on PS13 against PS18 and it could be noticed that on PS18 SQL statements against S_PROD_INT (based on BC "Internal Product - ISS Admin") are present which are not occurring on PS13. Additionally it seems that on PS18 for each SQL query a new DB cursor is used where on PS13 it's mostly using the same.

SBL-DBC-00105 / ORA-0100: maximum open cursors exceeded
