Picklist Issue for Country field

We are using siebel epharma application and we recently upgraded from to with Open UI enabled.
We are facing the following issue with Contact List Applet:

We have Address 1 field in the Contact List Applet. Once we open the Address 1 field MVG, there are fields related to Address are present which are editable.
Country field is present and it is picklist field.
We are facing issue with the Country field. Drop Down is not opening.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Contact List Applet
2. Open Address MVG
3. In selected address, check Country column and try to expand drop down for this column
4. No value is being displayed

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot modify country value using picklist
