New session id is generated at database level whenever new record is inserted through Open UI Account Contact List Applet.
1. Login to Siebel Application OM
2. Run the following SQL query in Oracle SQL Developer:
select sql_id,status,username,machine,sid,serial# from v$session where username='SADMIN';
This will return the corresponding session id at database level for the new Siebel Session.
3. In Siebel Application navigate to Accounts > Accounts Home > click on any Recent Record > Contacts.
Under Screen: Accounts Screen, View: Account Detail - Contacts View, Business Object: Account
Applets: Applet: SIS Account Entry Applet; Applet: Account Contact List Applet;
click on Contacts:New (++) in order to add and activate a new Contact record. Save the new record.
4. Immediately after the saving of the record a new SID is generated at DB level. Check again the v$session and you will see that a second session is generated.
If under the same Siebel session the user create multiple Contacts only one additional SID is created at database level.
No changes has been performed.
