IN TEXT AREA BOX THE KEYBOARD DOES NOT APPEAR IN IPAD

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
While trying to enter text in Safari browser in IPad the keypad doesn't comes up.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Keyboard should come up in order to enter text in the text area field.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Siebel Application Call Center
2. Go to Calendar > Calendar
3. In Activities Applet > click on Description field
