Siebel OpenUI SWSE Log Files Shows Error Message "CTI request coming in without a user session" Very Frequently, 4 to 5 Times Per Second Causing Poor Web Server Performance (Doc ID 2328287.1)

Symptoms

After upgrade from Siebel IP 2015 PatchSet 3 High Interactivity mode to SIebel IP 2016 Patch Set 12 OpenUI mode the Siebel users are observing slow performance of the application taking several minutes to login and sometimes several minutes to navigate between screen. The Siebel users close the browser and clean the cache and try to relogin to recover.

The SWSE log files also are increasing fasting reaching up to 7 to 10 GB and high CPU/Memory usage on Siebel Web Servers machines.

When opening the Siebel Web Server Extension (SWSE) log files on the Web Server thousand of message below can be observed:

This will enter in loop at very high pace of the message above 6 times per second.

6) The user will keep receiving the pop up error message if they close on X the loop will persists.

7) If the user click on OK, the loop still persists.

8) If the user try to navigate to another screen he will be kicked out from Siebel and back to the IE login page, at this point the loop stops the CTI Toolbar stop trying to reconnect to the old session.
