eCalendar Detail View: Not Saving Description If You Navigate Away

Not saving description if you navigate to another screen.
Desired behavior: Description value to be committed to the database:
- if the user tries to leave the view by clicking some other screens
- if the user press for example the 'save this one' button.
The product defect here is: despite of having "Immediate post change - TRUE" and "Force active - TRUE" on description field, the value is not committed (no insert / update statement) to the database. The script will prevent the user from leaving when the description is empty, but it will also prevent him leaving when the description is filled, because the record (which already exist now and before the navigation to here) is not committed again (this is the product defect here).
1. Set Description - not required at BC level.
2. Write a script in app_prenavigate which prevents the user leaving that view (eCalendar Detail View) without description filled.

Clicking on "Contacts" tab will not save the record after first raise error text message.
#1. Leave Description empty > click on Contacts > Pop-up: Description is a required field.(SBL-EXL-00151)
#2. Add value under Description
#3. Click on Contacts again > Pop-up: Description is a required field.(SBL-EXL-00151) > the value added under Description is deleted
#4. Add value under Description again
#5. Click on Contacts again > Pop-up: The selected record has been modified by another user since it was retrieved. Please continue. (SBL-DAT-00523).
