Unable to See Embedded Images in eMail body for Incoming Email

When receiving a new inbound email that contains an image in the message body, the following behavior is observed:
The inline image is rendered properly on the email server, but in Siebel application in the email body, the image is not rendered, instead, it's added as an attachment to that email.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to application
2. Go to Communications Screen
3. Click on Inbound mail record from My communications or All communications Tab
4. Review Inbound mail body and check inline images present or not in email body
