Siebel IP17: New Syntax For Operators Starting From IP16 (Doc ID 2336496.1)

Our current IP14 implementation uses syntax “NOT” for logical negation. This seems to have changed in IP16 and IP17 to “!”. We have product constraints and exclude templates that use this syntax.
Questions:
• Is “NOT” still supported in IP17 or do we have to adopt “!” and is there any impact to using “NOT” instead of “!”
• Our upgraded development environment still has “NOT” in the syntax. Is this the expectation or should the upgrade have taken care of changing the syntax?
