IP17 Migration Installation: Fatal error (2555922) when attempting to connect in Siebel Gateway using srvrmgr utility (Doc ID 2339107.1)

Symptoms



Siebel application was migrated from 8.1.1.14 to IP17 version. When attempting to connect in siebel gateway using the srvrmgr utility
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Fatal error (2555922): Could not open connection to Siebel Gateway configuration
store (%1:%2)., exiting...


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Access the siebel server machine
2. Open the command prompt window and navigate to <siebel_root>\siebsrvr\bin
3. Execute the command below:

srvrmgr /g <gateway_hostname> /e <siebel_enterprise_name> /u SADMIN /p ********
