Siebel Loyalty Batch Engine - Restarting Component Issue (Doc ID 2341715.1)

Symptoms

 Every 1st of every month we have the expiration process running (note: we have this setting in "LOY - Engine Queue Objects = Transaction:200,Accrual:10) . I've noticed that whenever this process begins however many Transactions are in the Queue to be processed are getting rapidly processed, as well as the creation of the expiration items which are created with a lower rate.

So for example, while daily we get 200.000 to 300.000 transactions processed by the Batch Engine, today by midday we already have more than 400.000 transactions processed (plus another 500.000 creation of expiration items) and i expect them to reach 600.000 to 700.000 processed transactions by the end of the day.

I hope there could be a way to replicate this processing speed at a daily basis, without affecting the monthly expiration process.
