IP16.17 EIM Failing With DB2 Z/OS Error Due To SQL "OVERRIDING USER VALUE" (Doc ID 2342449.1)

On : 16.17 [IP2016] version, EIM

EIM inserts are failing with DB2 z/OS error after moving from 16.7 to 16.17.

DB2 offers a sql extension "Overriding user value" which can be applied to force the insert of the next free sequence, regardless which value originally is provided in the sub-select statement.


SQL0109N The statement or command was not processed because the following clause is not supported in the context where it is used: "OVERRIDING USER VALUE". SQLSTATE=42601

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run an EIM import job on Siebel 16.17 with DB2 z/OS that involves a table column defined as GENERATED ALWAYS.
