Checkbox Fields Not Appearing In The Search Dropdown Of Applets In IP 2017

Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Siebel IP17, all the applets which have checkbox fields, such fields do not appear in the search dropdowns of those particular applets.
For example, In “Service Regions View – All” view , the applet “Service Region List Applet (non admin)” has a search dropdown. This dropdown does not have “Optimization On” field available. This is a checkbox field.
Is this expected behavior?
