Pick Field Value Disappears after Picking a Record from the Pick Applet When the Pick Field has a Drilldown

On :  16.17 [IP2016] version, Client Functionality

When a drilldown is configured on a Pick field,  Customer field value disappears after picking the record from Pick Applet.

Customer field value should disappears after picking the record from Pick Applet.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Opportunities Screen >  My Opportunities
2. Click Add button on the Opportunity Form Applet - Child  to create a new record
3. On the Customer field (this is Account field in vanilla),  open the Pick Applet and select a record.
4. Note the picked value is not displayed on the Customer field on the form applet .

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see the Customer value
