Pick Field Value Disappears after Picking a Record from the Pick Applet When the Pick Field has a Drilldown

When a drilldown is configured for a Pick field on a Form Applet, the Customer field value disappears after picking the record from Pick Applet.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Opportunities Screen > My Opportunities
2. Click Add button on the Opportunity Form Applet - Child to create a new record
3. On the Customer field (this is Account field in vanilla), open the Pick Applet and select a record
4. Note the picked value is not displayed on the Customer field on the form applet
