Application Interface Log Setting Change Has No Effect

Symptoms

On : 17.3 [IP2017] version, Siebel EAI

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In Application Interface profile, log level settings was changed to All for: User Interface, REST Outbound, REST Inbound, EAI.
However, even after an AI restart, the corresponding log entries are not present in the log files in applicationcontainer/logs (i.e. UILog.log for user interface access and RESTInBoundLog.log for inbound REST requests log files only contain INFO and ERROR messages)


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
ALL level logs should be generated (including Warning, Debug, Trace and Information).

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set the values for: User Interface Log Level, EAI Log Level, REST Inbound Log Level, SOAP Outbound Log Level to DEBUG level in Profiles > Application Interface
2. Restart the AI
