Siebel Client/tools Installation Hangs In Post-Installation Task (Doc ID 2355469.1)

Symptoms

Siebel Tools / client installation hangs in post -installation task and never completes  .   The following can be  observed from oracle_xe.log

Most of the time MSI (c) (D8:F4) [02:34:51:115]: ChildUIThread wait timed out  may not logged in oracle_xe.log
