Symptoms

When attempting to login to Siebel thick client for the first time, the following error occurs.

"The user ID or password that you entered is incorrect. Please check the spelling and try again."



The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Login to Siebel Thick client for the first time by connecting to the Server Database
2. The user ID or password that you entered is incorrect. Please check the spelling and try again.
