Symptoms

BIP Reports - Contact and Customer List reports stopped working

After BI Publisher patch p26909117_111190 (Bundle Patch 11.1.1.9.171017) was applied, the running of BIP reports for contacts list and customers fail. The reports (contact list, customer list) started working again after de-installing the patch.


ERROR

SBL-RPT-50524: BI Publisher engine failed to generate report.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. patch p26909117_111190 was applied to BI publisher.
2. Run report from Siebel application.
3. Report for contacts list and customers started failing.
** Once patch p26909117_111190 was deinstalled, the issue was not reproduced.

Due to this issue, users cannot generate report for contacts list and customers.
