After upgrade to Version 17, a custom EAI component using a custom application name fails with : Login failed for Login name (Doc ID 2367611.1)

Symptoms

On : 17.3 version, Siebel EAI

When attempting to invoke web services using session management headers in a custom copy of the EAI component
the following error occurs.

EAI object Manager log file:




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Clone the EAI component and create a new web profile for the new component and deploy the new profile.
2. Call the web service a few times to prove it is successful.
3. Increase the load (e.g run a load test tool) and notice it starts throwing errors.
