Integrity Check - Incomplete/Invalid Item to be Saved When Coming Out the Configurator (Doc ID 2380898.1)

On : 15.15 [IP2015] version, Order Management

In the Product Configuration , the cardinality of the Relationship is set as (1,1,1). And in the e-Config, a red bell is present if the user has not picked any of the product. Once Done button is clicked, the out of the box message is about the "Incomplete configuration". Despite that the user clicks on "Done", the Order Line Item is created.

On the click of Verify/Validate order, the expectation is to error to come as the standard "Invalid Promotion". This is getting violated when the order Type is "Modify". This works as expected in the New Connection order.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Modify the Asset
2. Modify Order is created
3. Click on Customize
4. Don't select the mandatory product.
5. Warning comes on e-Config
7. Despite, click on Done button.
8. Order is getting validated successfully. It should fail.
