Siebel eCommunications - Version 15.18 [IP2015] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 15.18 [IP2015] version, Configuration - General

The below error is triggered on clicking the Checkboxs within a List Applet that is configured to display only checkboxes.
"function custom_value return value is required"

Changes

 1. Create a List Applet with all the Check boxes (say approx 10) having the same Display name but pointing to different fields.
2. Make sure that you have at least 3 records in that applet.
3. Click on the First row into a table cell but not on the checkbox
4. Now click on any other cell in the second row (either on the checkbox or again outside the checkbox)
The issue happens upon triggering the UpdateSelectedRow which tries to save the changes for each column in the row.
