SSSE - Recurring Supported Appointments Failing In Siebel (Doc ID 2389082.1)

Symptoms

On : 16.10 [IP2016] version, SSSE

SSSE - Recurring Supported Appointments failing in Siebel

Currently, the repeating appointments with an End Date are syncing from Outlook to Siebel.

Currently, the repeating appointments without an End Date are Not syncing from Outlook to Siebel.

Below is the test for Daily appointment from Outlook:
1. Created 1 daily recurring event with END Date. (TEST_RECURRING_DAILY_WITH_END_DATE_1)
2. Created 1 daily recurring event without END Date (TEST_RECURRING_DAILY_WITHOUT_END_DATE_2)

After PIMSI Dispatcher run, only one event got created and other failed with error:-->

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open MS Outlook Client
2. Created 1 daily recurring event with END Date. (TEST_RECURRING_DAILY_WITH_END_DATE_1)
3. Created 1 daily recurring event without END Date (TEST_RECURRING_DAILY_WITHOUT_END_DATE_2)


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot sync recurring appointments from Outlook to Siebel and this means business meeting records are not kept . This directly affects productivity of all the employees.
