Siebel Marketing - Campaign Load

In one of the support web article(2133459.1), it is mentioned that one of the possible cause could be GID is not same between Siebel and OBIEE. This is the case in customer's instance. Please clarify the following:
1. Can you please share the steps to be followed to to update the GID in OBIEE?
2. Whats the impact of changing GID?
3. Both OBIEE and Siebel integrated with OID for authentication? Will this cause any issue? Please note that Segment creation and 'Add Segment' is working fine.
