How To Use The BS "Availability Service" With Method the "GetEndTimeBasedOnShift"?

Goal

For the Business Service "Availability Service" with the Method"GetEndTimeBasedOnShift, it is 3 Input Arguments:

1. duration
2. shiftId
3. startDateTime

And one Output Argument:

1. endDateTime
 
 
The customer wants to understand how these Input/Output Argument work, a quick example: If the activity is created on Monday 8 AM and the duration is 24 hours x 3 days x 60 minutes then what should be the endDateTime?
 
 
NOTE: Oracle Support was not able to found any information on how these arguments work and also it is not information on the Siebel Bookshelf regarding these input/output arguments work.
