Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2019

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 17.5 [IP2017] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer is on Siebel 17.5 version. They have applied POC-Patch: 27732526 - 23073 interim patch to address BUG 27655201.
They are using Oracle Non-Unicode Database.

After they ran full publish, they are seeing a special character ":" in S_RR_BUSCOMP Table --> COMPILED_OBJ_DEFN Column.
They would like to know if this special character in the end is an expected behavior or not.

Actual behavior:
Seeing ":" at the end in S_RR_BUSCOMP Table --> COMPILED_OBJ_DEFN Column.

Expected behavior:
Not have this ":" character at the end in S_RR_BUSCOMP Table --> COMPILED_OBJ_DEFN Column.

Repro steps:
1. Perform full publish using appropriate commands in IP 2017 environment.
2. Using SQL, run the command - SELECT * FROM mas_apps.S_RR_BUSCOMP where COMPILED_OBJ_DEFN LIKE '%:';
  Output has ":" in the end.
Business impact:
Customer is performing upgrade and running into Server busy error. They want to make sure if these extra / special characters in S_RR_BUSCOMP table is the cause for that or if this is unrelated / benign.
