Siebel IP17: Error during double click of Application Menu Icon

The Application Menu Icon will display when there are more menus than can be displayed in the top right screen. Usually when you shrink the browser side, it will show up. When double-clicking the icon, the webpage gets redirected to:


With the message:

Error when clicking
HTTP Status 404 – Not Found

Type Status Report

Message /siebel/

Description The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.
Apache Tomcat/8.5.12

Page redirection should not occur.

1. Log into the application.
2. In the Application Menu, there should be a icon that is an arrow in a circle. If not, shrink the webpage.
3. Double-click this icon.
4. Page is redirected to a non-existing page.

This can cause confusion to users.
